My name is SEÑOR TREJO and I am one of the Spanish teachers here at Hubbard. This will be my 12th year at Hubbard, but I have over 16 years of teaching experience. l was born and raised on the north side neighborhood of Rogers Park (Go Cubs!). I have a bachelor's degree in Secondary Education & Spanish from Northeastern Illinois University (NEIU). I also have a master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a minor in ESL/Bilingual Education from Concordia University at Chicago (CUC).
I am passionate about teaching my first language to those who are new to it and I also enjoy teaching native speakers the proper use of the language. I look forward to a great 2025 - 2026 school year. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns. I have an open door policy and everyone is welcome in my classroom.
