Rising seniors who did not get admitted to Chicago Scholars from Hubbard as well as other GU schools

Mon-Friday from 9am-12pm

Hubbard To Add AP Capstone Next School Year

Mayor Emanuel and Chicago Public Schools announced an expansion of the Advanced Placement (AP) Capstone program — an intensive diploma program that challenges students to excel in a variety of college-level courses — to six additional high schools throughout the city. Hubbard will be one of them next school year.

Graduation Info

Graduation is on Sunday, June 16th in the auditorium theater. The ceremony starts at 11:00 AM. Doors Open at 10:00 AM. Per the administration: students will only be allowed to wear academic stoles. Class, clubs, sports and activity stoles will not be allowed to be worn. For example: NHS, IB, Dual Credit and One Goal are all academic programs.

Tuesday, April 9th is a MANDATORY attendance day for all juniors (11th graders). 11th graders will be taking the SAT. THE SAT IS A GRADUATION REQUIREMENT. 9th, 10th, and 12th graders DO NOT HAVE TO COME TO SCHOOL.

Wednesday, April 10th is a MANDATORY attendance day for all freshmen (9th graders) and sophomores (10th graders). 9th and 10th graders will be taking the PSAT. THE PSAT IS A GRADUATION REQUIREMENT. 11th and 12th graders DO NOT HAVE TO COME TO SCHOOL*.

* 11th graders who are testing for a second day MUST report to school on April 10th.
