Financial Literacy 3rd Period-03 Assignments

This is the form you fill out when you turn in your taxes. What does it look like?

Two short activities. Research and match the different tax forms to thier discriptions in the first doc. In the second, analyze a graph showing when people normally (in non-pandemic times) file their taxes.
Currently the tax filing deadline is June 15 (normally April 15th). You or your parents still have time to file. There shouldn't be any delay in the tax return payment either. So if its possible, get that money!!!

We're going to go back to Taxes. As you may know, they extended the new tax deadline to July 15th to file taxes for 2019. So we have plenty of time to revisit.

How has Covid-19 changed our spending habits? Read the article and questions on the New York TImes website and answer the questions in the Google Doc.

Here is a podcast (15 min) about the current unemployment and the effects on the economy. Listen and take any notes on the google doc. There is a link for spotify and the Wall Street Journal website. Consider subscribing to the podcast. It is very informative.
