🗓️ Black History Month 2026: Honor. Educate. Celebrate.
Hubbard Greyhounds, get ready! Starting Monday, February 2nd, we begin our month-long celebration of Black culture, history, and innovation. Our mission this year is to foster unity and school spirit through artistic expression and community pride.
How to Get Involved:

Celebrate Everywhere: Whether in a club meeting or between classes, take time to honor the history and culture we all benefit from and carry forward together.

This is your chance to ask questions, explore career paths, and connect with leaders making a real-world impact. Stay tuned for sign-up details as speakers are confirmed!

| Important Announcement: Protecting Students at School |
In response to concerns about the increased presence of federal agents in Chicago, we want to assure all Hubbard families that the safety of our students is our top priority. Our school is a safe and welcoming place for all students to learn and grow.
Here's what you need to know about how we protect our students:
- We do not share student information with federal agents unless required by a court order.
- We do not ask for a family's immigration status.
- Federal agents are not allowed in our school without a criminal judicial warrant signed by a federal judge.
- If a student ever feels unsafe outside of school, they can always return to the building for help. Our doors are open from 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Students who are concerned or upset can speak with our counseling staff or any trusted adult in the building for support.
