On Wednesday, October 15, 2025, all 11th-grade students will take the PreACT from 8:00 am until 12:30 pm. The actual start and stop times may vary depending on when each room begins and ends testing. Students will follow their regular schedule after testing
Scholars will test using their school-assigned Chromebook. Please make sure your scholar FULLY CHARGES their Chromebook the night before and brings it with their charger just in case they need it. Cell phones, smartwatches, and earbuds will be collected by room proctors and placed in individually labeled plastic bags for safekeeping during the test. Test room proctors will remind scholars to text their parents/guardians before powering off their personal devices. Personal devices will be returned after testing has concluded, and during this time, we will remind scholars to text their parents/guardians. |

| El miércoles 15 de octubre de 2025, todos los estudiantes de tercer año tomarán el examen PreACT de 8:00 am a 12:30 pm. La hora de inicio y finalización puede variar según la hora de inicio y finalización de la prueba en cada salón. Los estudiantes seguirán su horario de clases regular después de la prueba.

| Important Announcement: Protecting Students at School |
In response to concerns about the increased presence of federal agents in Chicago, we want to assure all Hubbard families that the safety of our students is our top priority. Our school is a safe and welcoming place for all students to learn and grow.
Here's what you need to know about how we protect our students:
- We do not share student information with federal agents unless required by a court order.
- We do not ask for a family's immigration status.
- Federal agents are not allowed in our school without a criminal judicial warrant signed by a federal judge.
- If a student ever feels unsafe outside of school, they can always return to the building for help. Our doors are open from 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Students who are concerned or upset can speak with our counseling staff or any trusted adult in the building for support.
