Ranked number 17 out of 92 CPS district-run high schools, Hubbard is proud to obtain an ISBE rating of commendable; which is a high ranking in the Illinois State Report Card. According to Chicago Magazine, performance measures were selected and weighted with input from the University of Chicago Urban Education Institute and other experts. They used data from the Illinois State Board of Education and Chicago Public Schools for the 2016–17 school year, the most recent available. Calculations were done by the research nonprofit RTI International.
