I have been teaching at Hubbard since 2007 when I was brought on as a U.S. History and IB History teacher. I slowly transitioned to the Art Department by taking on the Yearbook I and Yearbook II at first. I fully joined the department in the 2013-14 school year with the introduction to Graphic Design / Digital Imaging I and II and taking on an Art I class.
I earned my Bachelor of Arts from Eastern Illinois University in 1999. From there I worked in the Marketing Department of National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, IL. I felt the need to join the Dot-Com and moved to San Francisco and worked for a campany called MCL Software Services. We developed websites for Fujifilm France and Microsoft Europe.
After two years in San Francisco, I moved back home and earned my endorsement in History and Political Science while taking classes at University of Illinois at Chicago and DePaul University. Eventually, I earned my Masters of Education from DePaul University in 2007 and quickly came on staff at Hubbard High School.
