As the IB Coordinator, I am privileged to work with a terrific group of academically talented, hard-working, and involved students at Hubbard High School.

After receiving my bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education English from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, I began my career as an English teacher. In 2005, I obtained a master’s degree in Communications from Governors State University.

Throughout my seventeen years at Hubbard, I have taught all levels of English, including the freshman pre-IB English classes and senior IB English classes.  In 2016 I became the IB Coordinator. Still a teacher at heart, I use my past teaching experience every day as IB Coordinator as I guide the students through pre-IB and then the IB Diploma Programme.  I also enjoy helping the students plan activities such as the Hubbard Haunted House, the poetry slam, and Tomorrow’s Legacy Club. In my free time you can find me spending time with my two children and husband or relaxing with a good book!
