Hi everyone,

 

Let me take a few words to introduce myself. I'm the new school counselor for 10th graders. I have over 15 years of experience in post-secondary and I love my job. My goal is to make sure that ALL of you, my students, are well prepared academically when you graduate high school and that each of you a have a concrete post-secondary plan; whether this is going to a 4 or 2 year college, Trade school, short certificate such A+, Nurse Assistant, Arm Forces, or entry in the labor force.

 

A little bit about about myself. I came to the U.S. when I was 14 years of age. I graduated from Farragut HS, Richard Daley College, DePaul University, and National Louis University. Also, I was undocumented student and professional for 16 years.

 

I have three dogs, Lili, Gorda, and Rocky. 

 

My motto is Know Yourself.
